I think didactic games are so important because it is the way we can use to engage or involve  students to keep interest in the class, it works also like an icebreaker or just to woke them up.  It Is helpful for both, teacher and students.

The meaning of the term Game means jumping for joy, and that is exactly what develop some important authors that studied about education.  Didactic games are related with plays and learn and have to be together in order to bring at our classroom motivation and attention of the students.

As teachers we have to be guides for students, games give us this opportunity, because we give them an appropriate environment to build their won knowledge and develop their skills and also give them confidence if they make any mistake.

Games encourage students to improve in different areas, it is helpful to develop their creativity using movements, direction, memory, imagination, reading, expression of ideas, and more. The main idea is to keep encouraging them to develop their knowledge.

The main objective of a didactic game is to use it as tool for a purpose; when we constructed it, there are rules that we can observe in order to diagnostic the needs of our students, and we do it disguised, students did not realized that we are taking notes about the way they are developing the activity.
